Guard catalysts which are placed on the upper stage of the catalyst bed and trap the scales to suppress the pressure drop increasing during operation
Features/Characteristics
CDS-NPC series catalysts have special hollow shape and scale trapping ability by high void space.
They also have mild hydrogenation activity to avoid excessive hydrogenation reaction on the top of reactor.
JGC C&C's guard catalyst system (size/activity grading system with CDS-NPC series and other catalysts) can prevent rapidly increasing of pressure drop.
