Since the merger of "Nikki Chemical" and "Catalysts and Chemicals Industries" in 2008, we have provided products that leverage the power of materials in the fields of petroleum refining, petrochemicals, environmental protection, and fine chemicals.

JGC Catalysts and Chemicals' strong technological capabilities allow us to create unique products.
We offer nanoparticle preparation, nanopore structure control, and nanoparticle alignment control technologies. With these nanotechnologies at the core, we combine platform technologies such as granulation and molding processes to create materials that meet the needs of our customers and society.
Moreover, in our role as a solutions provider, we respond to our customers' implicit needs through manufacturing. We continually ask ourselves whether our products actually meet the performance expectations of our customers, and we will continue performing R&D to leverage the power of materials.

Society faces many challenges today: global climate change, resource and energy issues, and the need to shift to a decarbonized society and circular economy.
We are committed to meeting society's need to achieve carbon neutrality. We are working toward this goal with catalysts for producing synthetic fuels and adsorbents for CO₂ and chemical recycling.
In addition, as society becomes more sophisticated, new materials are needed. We are therefore pursuing R&D into new materials in the field of life science materials that enrich people's lives, safety, and security, as well as the fields of high-function electronic component materials and eco-friendly cosmetics materials.
