Optical materials

JGC C&C’s adjustment technology for fine particles, which realizes small particle size and sharp particle distribution, is a strength of the company. By applying this adjustment technology, we produce transparent optical materials. We provide coating liquid that forms a transparent film of hard coating on plastic lenses for spectacles and other optical parts, as well as materials for adjusting refractive index to prevent optical interference. or conversely to harness optical interference for the production of low-reflection film.

- Lineup ranging from products with low refractive index to products with high refractive index

High transparency

Sol where nano-sized metal oxide fine particles are highly dispersed in the dispersion medium.

Adjustment of refractive index

Metal oxide fine particles can be used as a material for adjusting refractive index.

Hard coating property

Each type of paint can be compounded to achieve good dispersibility, and given superior hard coating properties.
