NOx, the cause of acid rain, is contained in waste gas from thermal power
stations (fuel, oil, coal, and LNG), co-generation systems for industry,
Integrated Coal Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) power plants, and Municipal
Solid Waste Incineration plants. We developed our own world-first Honeycomb-type
DeNOx catalyst in the 1970s to remove NOx from waste gas in the above applications.
This catalyst is installed in a NOx removal system called SCR (Selective
Catalytic Reduction), which reduces NOx from waste gas to N2 with reducing agents such as NH3 or urea. Our catalyst has high performance and long life. We have also
had a great deal of experience with DeNOx Catalyst since 1976 and we have
granted to our manufacturing technology for Honeycomb-type catalyst to
many countries all over the world. |
